This 8x11 inch print showcases the traditional ebru marbling technique in a nonpareil pattern. Created by floating pigments on water and carefully manipulating them into intricate swirling forms, this print features flowing shades of brown, tan, pink, and touches of green that create an ornate, all-over design.

The nonpareil pattern is one of the most elaborate designs in Turkish marbling. The repeated heart-shaped and paisley-like swirls create a baroque, decorative effect across the entire surface, with each curve flowing into the next. This intricate pattern is formed through the ancient art of water marbling, requiring skilled manipulation to achieve the characteristic ornamental quality.
