Feather Cascade v1

This 8x11 inch print showcases the traditional ebru marbling technique. Created by floating pigments on water, combing them into parallel feathered rows, and then dragging vertically to create a waterfall effect, this print features flowing shades of green, blue, and brown.

The cascade feather pattern combines two traditional ebru techniques. The horizontal feathered texture is pulled into vertical streams, creating movement that flows downward across the paper like falling water. Each element is formed through the ancient art of water marbling.

As with all ebru prints, this piece is entirely one-of-a-kind. The spontaneous nature of the marbling process means the exact patterns and color blends can never be perfectly reproduced, making each print a unique work of art.
